Celebrating Heritage day with Rugani Juice and friends

In Tarlton, Gauteng, lies Greenway Farms, the largest carrot producer in South Africa and a world first veggie extraction facility producing juice products with remarkable health benefits. Being both the farmer and processor, Rugani Juice has a year-round supply of the freshest veggies that are harvested daily and extracted into a 100% juice within four hours.
On Heritage day Rugani hosted Ride from Rugani, a family day which included a MTB outride and trail run which starts on the farm and heads out looping around the farmlands and onto routes set out by the passionate Woesrand MTB club riders.

Over a 100 mountainbikers and trail runners participated in this free event which consisted of a 5km, 10km and 45km route options, their family members joined in for a braai and picnic after the ride / run. Rugani provided delicious boerewors rolls and ice cold juice to celebrate braai day with young and old.

Rugani’s range of juices has specific benefits for cyclists, the beetroot in particular assists in boosting endurance. The natural Nitric Oxide aids in oxygen transfer to the muscles reducing fatigue and boosting performance. Their Pineapple juices reduces inflammation and aids recovery after a long ride.

The fun family day again highlighted the value of living a healthy lifestyle, with the enabling power of good nutrition.

Everyone got treated with an informative factory tour by the owner of Greenway farms, Vito Rugani. He is the only farmer in the world who uses nothing but the natural vegetable to produce juice such as their iconic carrot juice and beetroot juice.

Anatomic Sportswear, Shimanno, Woesrand MTB club and Ecologic joined in on the day exhibiting their products and gave away some awesome lucky draw prizes.
