Riders from Rwanda, Kenya and Eritrea amongst top 5 after Tour du Rwanda Stage 1

Alessandro Fedeli ( Delko–Marseille Provence) from Italy took the stage one win at the inaugural edition of 2.1 Tour du Rwanda on Sunday afternoon in Kigali. The 22- year old outsprinted Eritrean rider Yakob Debesay Abreham followed by two of Fedeli’s  Delko–Marseille Provence teammates, Przemyslaw Kasperkiewcz and Joseph Areruya, rounding off third and fourth position.

Joseph Areruya who took fourth place in the sprint is a Rwanda cyclist and is currently riding for UCI Professional Continental team Delko–Marseille Provence.
