Awesome Ash!

Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio has become the first South African rider to stand on the final podium of a Grand Tour, finishing second overall in the women’s Giro d’Italia, also known as the Giro Rosa.

She cemented her second place with a strong ride on the final stage, which was won in style by the Pink-Jerseyed Annemiek van Vleuten with a solo attack near the end of the day. Van Vleuten was the dominant rider, winning three stages. Amanda Spratt finished third overall.
